Join us Saturday November 18th for our monthly meeting.  Meetings begin at 10:30 am in the Staggs Community Room of the Huntsville Public Library.  Our program will be  "Texas Land Records" presented by Kevin Klaus, lead researcher for the Archives and Records Division of the Texas General Land Office.  Follow the link for more information.

November 18th Meeting

The third Wednesday of each month (except December) the WCGS will host a writing circle in the Johnnie Jo Sowell Dickenson Genealogy Room of the Huntsville Public Library from 2 pm to 4 pm.  Each meeting will have a short 15 minute presentation on a different aspect of writing and will have a time to discuss stories you are writing and problems or successes you are having.  Stay 10 minutes or stay 2 hours - come join us and start making your family stories come alive.  Every way to write is RIGHT so come and start your blog or Facebook post or just write a paragraph about your cat.  The meeting is free and open to everyone.
